Our columnists' acumen, wit, and fearless stick-their-neck-out willingness to call 'em like they see 'em has earned the Republic a bit of a reputation in northern circles for outspokenness, quirkiness, and obstreperousness. Articles and cartoons are available for publication simultaneously with or after publication in the Republic (on or after the 15th of the month).

article rates:

Rates are determined by per-piece rate based on average circulation, irrespective of frequency of issue. Website posting is permissable, with an additional surcharge for periodicals with a circulation of more than 20,000 or which are net-only. The Republic is a monthly; thus, up to twelve new articles a year are available from each columnist.
