The Annex, where Cartoon North will be on exhibit, is a large gallery owned by painter and sculptor Nancy Burnham, situated near Fairbanks and featuring studio space and a small shop. The mission of the gallery is to provide opportunity and a venue for artists working in all media and to encourage individuals to explore their art form. The gallery fosters a relationship with the community and provides for education about both traditional and nontraditional art. Community events and fundraisers are a regular feature on the Annex's schedule. | |||

Gulliver's Books is an independent bookstore in College, Alaska, and has been serving Fairbanks since 1985. Gulliver's encourages buying local first, and enjoys and supports Alaska's sequential artists and local authors, with book signings and other events. | |||

The Observatory, ABAA, sells antiquarian books and maps. Dee Longenbaugh, the proprietor, has a passion for the history of Russian America and specializes in the 16th to 19th centuries, focusing on Alaska, Siberia, and the polar regions. The bookstore was established in 1977 in Sitka, and moved to Juneau in 1992. She is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. | |||
