VICTUALS & DRINK

Distinctly northern--and often odd--recipes can be found in the pages of The Ester Republic, along with restaurant reviews and the like. Local gardeners and cooks have contributed their favorites. Many of these recipes have been reprinted in The Local Et Cetera. Columns on hunting, food gathering, herbal remedies, and northern agriculture and sustainable food production make their appearence on these pages, along with food-related poems and anecdotes.
